Walpole Police Officers Dave Smolinsky and Chris Mackenzie are certified child passenger safety technicians. They graduated from a week long course presented by the Governor's Highway Safety Bureau on the proper installment of all brands of child safety seats.
According to the Governor's Highway Safety Bureau, 90% of all child car seats that are installed, are installed incorrectly. These officers are available to assist parents in making sure their children are as safe as possible when traveling in a vehicle.
Any Walpole resident wishing advise and assistance with installing their child car seats should call the Walpole Police and ask about the child car seat program at (508)668-1095. Patrolmen Smolinsky and Mackenzie work on various days and times, so please call first and speak with one of them, and they will tell you when would be the best time to seek their expertise.
Take a trip on over to the section of the Child Car Seat page for details.
