The "Patrol" section of our fleet is really just a general term meaning marked cruisers. We currently have 8 marked police cars, however, they serve different purposes from a supervisors vehicle, to the court officers vehicle and even a "low profile" traffic enforcement vehicle. Each of these vehicles is crucial in the daily operation of the police department.
Over the years, there have been dozens of changes and improvements to police cars; these are not your standard 4-door sedans. The majority of the marked fleet are Ford Crown Victoria's, modified with the Police Interceptor package for increased power, durability, safety and handling. Inside the marked cruisers you will find numerous tools needed by our officers, from scanners, radios and light controls, to radar units and Mobile Data Terminals, used for instant access to records throughout the country.

Among our marked cruisers, we have a "low-profile" traffic safety vehicle. This vehicle is used by our motorcycle unit during inclimate weather which would make it unsafe to ride a motorcycle. The vehicle is outfitted with a modified lighting system, so that from a distance, it would not be easily recognized as a police car. The vehicle is also equipped with specialized equipment for use by our accident reconstruction team, and is used for emergency response in those situations.
