Child Safety Seat Technician

When properly installed, child safety seats reduce the risk of death in a motor vehicle crash by 71% for infants and 54% for toddlers. Safety belts reduce the risk of death or serious injury in a motor vehicle crash by up to 50%.
Officer Rich Habr graduated from a week long course on the proper installation of child safety seats. According to the Governor's Highway Safety Bureau, 90% of all child car seats that are installed, are installed incorrectly.
Officer Habr is available to assist parents with the proper installation of their car seats. However, he offers this service in addition to his normal duties as a patrol officer, so we ask that you please email to set up an appointment.
